Testimonials
Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust Ambulatory Care Emergency & Integrated Care
I would like to thank you all for your effort in the last 2 days.
In just one day and half, we have moved 31 people, 19 computers, and diverted more than 10 phone lines.
The palliative team and therapies team that moved yesterday were very happy and grateful for the support received.
One of the consultants has emailed me just now saying that she was impressed about the quick, smooth relocation.
A special thanks to Ensigna for being very accommodating with the clinicians and efficient in delivering the offices as agreed.
The nurses shared their particular appreciation for Neil and Ricky.
The clinical teams didn’t experience any service disruption.
As a consequence, our patients were not impacted at all.
Chelsea & Westminster Hospital
"I have been working at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital for nearly 9 years and worked closely on various projects with Ensigna Construction.
From small works projects such as freezing DWS valves on live pipe work to full ward refurbishment, the professionalism and workmanship that the Ensigna team carries out across all their work, leaves me with nothing but positive comments across all areas. They are respectful, kind, prompt and flexible and always willing to lend a hand to get the job done correctly.
In their current ongoing project here at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital – the fire stopping project has been a success so far. Working in a live hospital above ceilings and arranging access can be a challenge but Ricky and his team have always dealt with the customer and worked together to make things work for all parties. Their levels of understanding how important it is to work safely and to current HTM’s sets them apart from other construction companies I’ve dealt with in the past.
I have no hesitation in recommending them to any organisation looking for the complete package to deliver any job professionally.

• Working with and communicating well with Client Departments in occupied premises often in difficult circumstances and on tight budgets and programme
• Delivery of projects on time and within budget

I would not hesitate in recommending Ensigna Construction Ltd particularly for work on a variety of work in Educational establishments and occupied premises."

Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
"We confirm that the referenced contractor has successfully completed a number of projects for our Trust.
The range of projects is varied, they have undertaken relatively minor non clinical alteration works with minimal services content (minimum value circa £10,000) and complex projects with significant services (maximum value in excess of £325,000).
The largest project completed by Ensigna for the Trust is the formation of a new Decontamination Unit which comprised, in addition to fabric strip out and general construction, the installation of new air handling units, a high level of supply air filtration and specialist plumbing for endoscope washing machines supplied by a specialist. The works were completed in 18 weeks within a working hospital environment requiring high levels of co-ordination with individuals and departments and a demanding end user. This project was completed mid 2016.
Ensigna have subsequently completed other projects and have recently been awarded a contract for internal redecoration works scheduled to commence in January 2009.
In the event that you require additional information regarding works carried out by this contractor please do not hesitate to contact the writer."
Bethlem Royal Hospital
"Ensigna Limited completed a refurbishment project in July 2008 for the Trust to the value of £260,000. There was a large portion of mechanical and electrical work within the project, but the project was still completed slightly earlier than programmed.
Although this was the first time we had used this particular company we found them to be extremely professional and efficient.
The Site Manager was very proactive and helpful when problems were encountered, and was extremely helpful in providing solutions.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this company, and will include them on tender lists for future work within the Trust.
In the event that you require additional information regarding works carried out by this contractor please do not hesitate to contact the writer."
Clapham Manor Primary School & Children's Centre
"Clapham Manor Primary School & Children's Centre has worked with Ensigna Construction Ltd since 2010. Ensigna were awarded a contract by London Borough of Lambeth to carry out refurbishment and some limited new construction works to our school. Following this, Clapham Manor Primary School & Children's Centre further engaged Ensigna to carry out additional decoration and maintenance work. This year, Ensigna has tendered for work on our new sensory room. Ensigna won the tender and has completed the work within budget and well within the time allocated.
At all times, we found Ensigna to be approachable, good at solving problems and responsive to our wishes. The majority of their work was carried out during the term while children were still on site; we found that the contractors and builders used by Ensigna were polite, quiet and respectful of their surroundings.
The refurbishment work to the building provides additional curriculum space for the pupils and has been carried out to a very good standard.
We have no hesitation in recommending Ensigna for further school work as they have demonstrated high standards of workmanship in our school, one of the best in my 28 years of headship."

I'll start by saying that Tracy and I can be quite hard task masters... not always easy to please. Some might even call us fussy!
As a Head I have worked with many contractors over the years and I feel fortunate enough that I have been able to work with Ensigna on more than one occasion. They have, in all of my dealings, been nothing but effective communicators (involving me throughout regarding options and opinion) and totally profession even though I thought I might have been being a bit fussy at times.
I asked them to lower the trunking for my screen window view area because of the age (rather than height) of the young children. This was rather an annoying job, but they totally understood that I was doing it from the childs's point of view.
They worked relentlessly to meet deadlines even though Covid 19 was a delay at times. They met their deadlines. They have been nothing but professional, helpful, polite and understanding.
What a fantastic team of workers and Lee is just great overseeing the project and keeping us in the loop. They are civil and thoughtful and worked alongside the school team brilliantly listening to our needs (calm colours/ airy spaces in soft play/ how the hoist works even).
Needless to say, i'm absolutely delighted with my autism resource provision and thrilled with their work.
Thanks, Ensigna. Brilliant. Credit where credit is due.
Working in schools for contractors is not always smooth running. It is with you guys.
What a great service.
Thank you

I am sending this to make you aware of the excellent work carried out by Roy James and his team in my ED Radiology Department. As the Clinical Lead it was important for me to maintain patient care and keep waiting times minimal whilst rebuilding of my waiting area and Radiology office. This was never going to be an easy project given the large number of patients and the amount of work that takes place in the office area.
Roy James and his team communicated with myself and my clinical team at all stages of the work and agreed best plans with us. This attention to detail meant we didn't have a single complaint from ED (who didn't seem to notice the building site) or from any patient. Time scales were adhered to making my planning easier as the clinical manager, which was appreciated.
Your staff were friendly and helpful at all times. It was a pleasure working with such professionals.
On top of their excellent attitude, the standard of work carried out was first class. I am totally OCD yet Roy and his team made sure every detail was as I wanted. We have a few things to finish (just waiting on a few supplies), but my team are back working in the office area and are delighted with the new look and layout. I had similar reports from the Porter manager who said the work carried out has made the porters life easier. The most important group in my eyes are the patients and they think my department is lovely, the waiting room is no longer the cramped area it was.
I have been long winded but I cannot thank your team enough for their excellent high standard of work.
